was in the family, I think in 2001 it went for around £160
I've
not yet experimented with DVD players and find the picture from this
player is brilliant. The on screen displays and setups are easy to
use. I think an upgrade will be needed in time to play DVD Audio and
other disc formats.

Seeing
as Sky and NTL play allot of things I simply don't watch and
repeats, Free to View Digital TV is for me the better option. I rent
allot of DVD's from Blockbuster
Rental By Post which
provides access to their entire warehouse. Digital TV gives digital
picture and sound. This is much better than terrestrial TV although
this box is fairly slow at changing channels.

video player meets my need to play the old VHS tape or record a
program now and again. I was surprised that it can record the digital
picture, and it even retains the wide screen format!
